Along the sparkling shores of the Intracoastal Waterway, something exciting is coming. And if you haven’t yet heard, the word is out about what will soon become the top destination for active retirees along the Carolina coast. It’s Trinity Landing!
We’re so very excited to bring this new type of community and lifestyle to the Wilmington area, and we are so humbled by how many enthusiastic individuals and couples have already committed to becoming the first group of neighbors. Availability still remains, although it becomes more limited by the day. The more people learn about this opportunity, the better it gets.
With that in mind, we compiled this quick list of the top three frequently asked questions (FAQs) about Trinity Landing, so that you can get the most important details right now while the opportunity to reserve a brand-new coastal home still remains. Let’s go!
1) When will Trinity Landing open?
This is by far the most common question we receive, and for good reason. People want to know when they’ll be able to take this exciting step in life and take it at a place where they can enjoy a salt-air, sun-kissed lifestyle every single day.
Construction, as you may have seen on our Facebook page, is moving right along and on schedule, and right now we are on track to open our doors in May 2022.
That means as of this publishing, forward-thinking and energetic independent people like you will be landing here, living here, and loving it here in less than a year!
2) What is the move-in schedule?
Of course, with more than 180 brand-new residences planned and everyone eager to start living the Trinity Landing lifestyle, the spring of 2022 will be perhaps our most exciting time of all. That said, we are working on a detailed plan to ensure that everyone can move in as early as is reasonable with respect to our spaces, our resources, and our natural coastal environment.
In other words, people will begin to move in starting in May 2022; however, we expect that it will take a little while until all of your fun-loving neighbors join you. Simply stay tuned to this space and feel free to reach out to the Trinity Landing team for updates as our grand opening gets even closer.
This also makes now a great time to make sure that you have your moving, logistics, and transition plans in order, so that you can move smoothly—and more quickly!
On that note, we recently hosted a classic Carolina low-country boil event for future Trinity Landing residents alongside our preferred real estate and moving partners, Turnkey Lifestyle Moving Specialists, and the Southern Moving & Storage. The main takeaway? It’s never too early to plan and pack, no matter how far away “one year out” sounds.
3) Are entrance fees expected to rise?
You may know by now that Trinity Landing is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that takes a one-time entrance fee as the main payment granting you access to your brand-new home and the resort-like surroundings. As we have progressed through development, the prices of entrance fees and the associated contract options have evolved.
The simplest answer to this question is that we are currently in the preconstruction pricing phase, and the timing of any further adjustments to entrance fee and contract options is still to be determined.
What does this mean for you? It means that to guarantee that you lock in the best-possible pricing, we advise that you make your reservation deposit sooner rather than later.
Speaking of urgency, things along the coast here in Wilmington are moving quickly, and we know that many more questions will arise as this destination retirement community in NC continues to take shape.
