If you are one of the many folks excitedly awaiting Trinity Landing’s construction, now is the time to rejoice! After 38 years of planning and dreaming, Lutheran Services Carolinas (LSC) is happy to announce that Trinity Landing, a waterfront senior living community in Wilmington, has begun construction! We want to offer you an update, show off some exciting photos and videos, and reflect on why we’re so excited to share our community with the world.

An exciting timeline

Since its announcement, Trinity Landing has had quite the story! We received such an overwhelmingly positive response to the project’s announcement that we added 45 units that were originally scheduled to be in Phase II of the project’s development. And yet, thanks to our dedicated and passionate team, we stayed on schedule and began construction on August 3.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has affected marketing efforts, the pivot to virtual tours has kept interest in Trinity Landing high, and the community is nearly 80 percent reserved, said Ann Pressly, director of marketing and sales for Trinity Landing. “Trinity Landing has already become a community, even without walls,” Pressly added.

Because we are on schedule, you can look forward to kicking back on the Intracoastal Waterway with your new neighbors in 2022. And while we already can’t wait to move you into your customized residence, the opening will be here before you know it!

Setting the stage

As you can see, the section of waterfront property we have carved out for you is looking good! The property is situated directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, opening up all kinds of opportunities for waterfront fun and relaxation. As you may have also noticed, we have taken great care to preserve the surrounding landscape. Not only is it important to us to stay environmentally conscious, but we also know that the foliage and greenery adds a wonderful level of atmosphere and comfort to the community.

If you want to feel separated from the outside world, and comfy and cozy on your patch of waterfront property, you can! If you want to explore Wilmington’s cultural and historic offerings, it’s easy! If you want to visit Wilmington’s beaches and have a night out on the town, it’s all right there. Soon all of these possibilities and conveniences will be available to you and your new neighbors.

Former LSC Board of Trustees chair and Trinity Landing’s first 10 percent depositor with wife Zan, Jerry Bramley said, “We look forward to residing in a secure and luxurious environment where daily needs and desires are provided, as well as the coastal activities and amenities that Trinity Landing will provide.”

Working hard so you don’t have to

Our team always has a blast working together, and we are as enthusiastic as ever to bring this community to life. You can see it in these photos of the team on-site!

In Ann Pressly’s words, “We love working together. I think the biggest reason everyone is so cheery is that we truly believe Trinity Landing will be something special.” Her passion is shared by everyone on the team. We want to provide an environment where like-minded seniors can continue their active lifestyles together. Moreover, we want to make everything as fun and convenient as possible.

From the amazing dining to the maintenance-free lifestyle and the waterfront pavilion, we intend to give you and your new neighbors every opportunity to keep thriving. You can read more details in our press release here. Not only are we right on track to open in 2022, but also residences are being reserved at a record pace.
