The news we’ve all been waiting for has come! The North Carolina Department of Insurance has officially given Trinity Landing approval to begin the residence selection process, which means depositors have begun reserving the floor plans and residence locations of their choosing.

“We’re really excited to start this new phase and allow our future residents to select their actual homes,” John Frye, Trinity Landing’s executive director, said. “The need for active senior living in this area is growing, and we’re proud to serve the Wilmington area as the region’s only waterfront non-profit senior living community.”

To start the residence reservations, the Trinity Landing team contacted the existing priority depositors in the order that they made their $100 priority deposit, and coordinated a meeting with them at the Trinity Landing Welcome Center. Those who made their initial $100 priority deposits were the first to be invited to reserve their new home, make their 10% deposit and join the Founder’s Club.

Picking the perfect place

During this exciting appointment, the depositors make their final selections on contract options, residence type and—perhaps most exciting—the location! Residents who prefer to be closer to the clubhouse can select a residence nearby, while those desiring a water view or southern light can pick their perfect residence and their perfect location. To help future residents select their perfect location, the Trinity Landing Welcome Center has a brand-new virtual tour display.

What’s next

After all the current depositors have selected their residence, any remaining residences will be opened up for reservation to the general public. But, if you don’t want to wait that long, you still can make a priority deposit and get your name on the list before residence selection becomes open to all.

Once future residents have selected their home, the real fun begins! For them, it becomes time to start looking at designs, color palettes and rightsizing into the waterside lifestyle at Trinity Landing.
