When moving from a single-family home to a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), you wouldn’t expect an apartment home to have “wings,” but the Beaufort residence at Trinity Landing, a soon-to-be-built independent living community in Wilmington, NC, features an expansive main living area with bedrooms (and more!) that flank both sides.
With a choice of 15 apartment homes, Trinity Landing offers something for everyone, but the Beaufort residence is truly unique. With more than 1,600 square feet of living space, the Beaufort two-bedroom plus den residence delivers an upscale design with space galore.
Room as far as the eye can see
As you enter the Beaufort residence, you immediately notice the kitchen with a grand island that comfortably seats three people. Picture yourself hosting a book club while your guests nibble on appetizers and mingle between the open-concept kitchen and living room. On mild nights, open the sliding doors to a generously sized balcony and you instantly have a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor living areas. Equip this area with an outdoor rug, wicker loveseat, and lounge chairs, and you’ve created the perfect place for taking in the views of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Still need more entertaining space? Just off the kitchen is a fabulous formal dining room with an additional entry/exit off the main hallway. From holiday family dinners to a “murder mystery” dinner, your guests will feel like royalty in this room. And if formal entertaining is not your thing, you can always repurpose this space as a game room, craft nook, or den—and convert the designated, ample-sized den into a third bedroom!
“Wings” for privacy
And when the entertaining winds down, you’ll want to move into one of the Beaufort’s “wings.” To one side of the main living area lies the den, master bedroom (hello, oversized walk-in closet!), and a master bathroom that includes a double vanity.
On the opposite side of the great room is a second bedroom, equipped with another walk-in closet, and a spacious bathroom located on the other side of the hallway. Consider this “wing” to be your guest retreat—perfect for hosting out-of-town friends, children, and grandchildren. Best yet, the bedrooms and den feature gorgeous tall windows to let the light spill into the spaces.
Goodbye chores, hello new adventures
With square footage comparable to many smaller single-family homes, the Beaufort is an easy transition from your current home. But here’s what puts it over the top: no more yardwork, home repairs, and housekeeping. Trinity Landing is responsible for home maintenance so you can use the time to work out at the Wellness Center, attend a lecture at the nearby college, or try a new watersport.
The early bird gets the home
If you’re already visualizing how well your furniture will fit into the Beaufort, it’s time to consider a move. Set to open in 2022, future residents of Trinity Landing have begun to select and reserve their new homes—and the larger floor plans are going fast! So, schedule a personal tour today or call us at 910-398-9400.

What are prices for various size bedrooms?E
Will like prices and where is located. When will people can move in and are they apartments or independent houses? Do they have garages for our cars?
What is the cost for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment? Are utilities included. Also, I am 65 years old but have a disabled 38 year old son who lives with me. Would he be able to move in with me?
Hi Debbie, thanks for your comment! You can call us with any questions about pricing at 910-398-9400 and for options relative to having your son join you at the community. In short, the price depends on the contract and residence that you select. For example, a larger residence will cost more upfront and per month. In general, we’ve found that many people discover that communities like Trinity Landing represent a strong value, especially based on the amenities and services included. We look forward to hearing from you!
