Construction on Trinity Landing, Wilmington’s newest active senior living community, is more than 70 percent complete. Our team is happy to share that an outside firm recently inspected the construction site and found all is moving according to plan. This behind-the-scenes check is just one of the many ways Trinity Landing ensures construction stays on track. And it’s yet another way we’re fulfilling the promises to our future residents that this coastal, sun-soaked retirement lifestyle will be truly unlike any other.

So now, as the construction team from W.M. Jordan approaches the final lap, here’s a look at some of the progress made in recent weeks. It’s a lot to get excited about along the Intracoastal Waterway!

The boards on Trinity Landing’s idyllic boardwalk are up! Stretching through the grounds, over wetlands, and past the Waterfront Pavilion, the boardwalk transitions to a long dock over the water. The set-up makes it easy to stroll through the maritime forest on your way to the waterfront. Once you arrive, a gazebo, kayak launches, and boat lifts await. Bridges and walking paths also carry you into natural settings while providing scenic views of the marsh and Intracoastal Waterway.

Crews recently completed framing the Town Center’s porte cochere, a covered entrance grand enough to welcome both visitors and vehicles. As the hub of the community, the Town Center will include multiple restaurant venues where you can enjoy everything from gourmet to pub-style meals, an art studio where you can create your finest masterpiece, and a salon and spa where you can recharge after a busy day of activities. You can also easily access the Town Center from your roomy one- or two-bedroom apartment home by using the convenient enclosed walkways.

The walls of the Saltwater Wellness Aquatic Center and the foundation for the heated indoor pool are taking shape. Picture yourself going for a quick dip before lunch or meeting up with friends for a water aerobics class. Prefer land-based activities? The full-service Wellness Center is also home to state-of-the-art fitness equipment and group exercise classes. Future residents who make reservation deposits have instant access to all Trinity Landing Saltwater Wellness group activities. That means you can get moving before move-in day!

The villas – one of two spacious options for your dream coastal residence at Trinity Landing – are coming together, with the siding, stonework, windows, and exterior doors now complete. The two-story villa buildings feature four residences per floor, and each floor plan is designed to allow outdoor light on three sides and outdoor walks to the Town Center.
